At Hopetown School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Our extra-curricular highlights
Social and Emotional learning
The Chess Mastery program has been developed as an extra-curricular activity based on the popularity of the game with the students. The program is designed to support the growth of intellectual, creative and social-emotional skills amongst students who show interest in goal development and of course the game of chess.
Cultural Exchange program - Coffs Harbour
Students spend time with the team from the Bularri Muurlay Nyanggan Aboriginal Corporation, camping near Coffs Harbour and experiences activities on country.
Camps and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
